Travel with Gagi

       මෙය සබරගමු පළතේ රත්නපුර දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ ඕපනායක ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් කොට්ටාසයට අයත් අටුගෙඅරාව ගම්මනයේ පිහිටා ඇත.මෙම පුස්වැලේ වට ප්‍රමානය 168cmකි. මෙම පුස්වැල අසලින්  " වේ ගඟ "  ගලා බසියි. එය ඉතා විශාල "මාර ගසක" එතී ඇත. මෙම පුස්වැලෙහි තිබෙන (හට ගන්නා) මල් සුදු පැහැයෙන් යුතු වේ. මෙම පුස්වැලේ හට ගන්නා කරල් මීටර් 1 පමණ දිග වේ.  එම කරල් වේළුණු පසු දුඹුරු පහැයට හැරේ. පුස් ඇට ලෙස හදුන්වන්නේ මෙම පුස්වැලෙහි හට ගන්නා බීජ වේ. මෙවා  ඖෂධීය ගුණයෙන් යුක්ත වේ. පුස්වැල්, බීජ ව්‍යාප්ත වීම මගින් හට ගන්නා බව පොදු විශ්වාසයකි. මෙම පුස්වැල  ශ්‍රී ලංකාව, බංගලාදේශය, ඉන්දුනීසියාව, මලාවි, නයිජීරියා, භූතානය  වැනි රටවල්වලට ද ආවේනික ශාකයකි.

                  Seethawaka Botanical Garden is in Avissawella. It is in the Western Province. It  has 106 acres of land. Its opening ceremony for visitors was in 2014. It has a tropical climate. There are many rare plants and trees in it. There are attractive flowers and colourful birds. There is a lake with clear water. Visitors can have boat rides in the river. The garden is open from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. everyday for visitors. The garden was established in 20th century as a plantation for Rubber and Tea, which was owned by a garden known as "Pannaagula". The construction of the Botanical garden commenced on 2008.
