 කතරගම කිරි වෙහෙර යනු මසසේන් රජතුමා විසින් තැනූ, කතරගම ප්‍රදේශයේ පිහිටි සින්දර පූජනීය ස්ථානයකි. ක්‍රිස්තු වර්ෂ 2 වැනි සියවසට අයත් සෙල්ලිපි දෙකක් කිරි වෙහෙර ස්තූප භූමියෙන් හමු වී තිබේ. මෙම වෙහෙර අඩි 95 ක උසකින් යුතු වන අතර අඩි 280 ක පමණ වට ප්‍රමාණයකින් යුතුය. මෙම ප්‍රදේශයේ විශාල වශයෙන් නටබුන් පවතින අතර ශිලා ලේඛනද හමු වී ඇත. කිරි වෙහෙර ක්‍රි.පූ.1 වන සියවසේදී පමණ ඉදිකර අති අතර පසුව මහාසේන රජතුමා විසින් දැනට පවතින තත්වයට ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණය කොට ඇත. 

  Mount Pidurutalagala is the highest mountain range in Sri Lanka. It is located in Nuwara Eliya District. Many foreigners come to see this mountain.  Army, air force and naval bases are located and the main transmission centers of the Sri Lanka Television Corporation and the Telecom Institute are also located here.  Be careful when visiting this mountain range as there are many dangerous animals.

  Nuwara Eliya is a beautiful cold town in the central highlands of Lanka.  There are many beautiful places in this city. Pidurutalagala is also located in this city. Nuwara Eliya is very famous city for tea. When entering this city, there is a large number of tea plantations on both sides of the road. Nuwara Eliya was founded by Samuel Baker. Although this city was discovered by the British, but mostly Sri Lankans came here. As this area is located at a very high altitude above sea level, Nuwara Eliya has a colder climate than the lowlands of Sri Lanka.Its mean annual temperature is 16 degrees Celsius.  Sita Amman Temple World's end Bakers Falls Victoria Park Haggala Flower Garden is the tourist places of this city.
