Yala National Park is the second largest national park in Sri Lanka. This park is located about 300 km from Colombo. Yala belongs to two provinces of Sri Lanka called Uva and South. That is, Yala is a very large area. Foreigners are also come to visit Yala Park. The nearest town to Yala is Hambantota town. Among the large animals living here are Asian elephants, crocodiles, buffaloes. The park will be managed by the Wildlife Conservation Department.A safari vehicle must be purchased from there to visit this park.It is called Yala Safari.
