‍යාල ජාතික වනෝද්‍යානය - Yala National Park Sri Lanka

 


         
Yala National Park is the second largest national park in Sri Lanka. This park is located about 300 km from Colombo. Yala belongs to two provinces of Sri Lanka called Uva and South. That is, Yala is a very large area. Foreigners are also come to visit Yala Park. The nearest town to Yala is Hambantota town. Among the large animals living here are Asian elephants, crocodiles,  buffaloes. The park will be managed by the Wildlife Conservation Department.A safari vehicle must be purchased from there to visit this park.It is called Yala Safari. The access road to this park is in very good condition. 9 houses and 2 bungalows have been built for guests. Also, Yala is a very famous park in Sri Lanka.

From Colombo to Hambantota on Tissamaharamaya Kirinda Road, turn at Yala Junction and enter this park through Palatupana Park Head Office. 

You can come to this park from Colombo to Ratnapura and from there to Yala junction on Udawalawa Thanamalwila Tissamaharamaya road.
